A week too late, but here’s to our first review.
By now either by word of mouth or from the Internet buzz going around, you’ve probably already heard Peter Parker isn’t quite Peter Parker. In the final issues of Amazing Spider-man, Peters greatest rival Doc Oc had found a way to switch minds with Peter. Putting Peter into the dying body of the Octopus and the Doc into the body of Peter, along with most of his memory and knowledge. Having won the battle Oc is now a Superior Spider-man, better and smarter than Peter ever has been. In our first issue Octavius is put up against the ‘new’ Sinister Six consisting of some C-list villains. In their first bout, Octavius shows no care and pretty much flees. But when a civilian is put into danger, he what seems unwillingly, jumps in to save the man. The new Sinister Six then bolts out of there with what they had came for. We see Otto as he spends a regular day in the mind of Peter Parker, we have friends, work, and everything else. There’s a fair amount of action in this issue and it being the first, it pulled me in. The ending leaves us with a climatic cliff hanger. Otto as Spider-man has a weird ring to it, but I would recommend this issue to be given a try. Reeled me in. I give this a 3.5/5 rating.
Sorry this is sloppy work I’m still trying to get use to how to do this. The reviews will get better. Feedback on how it is and how can I improve it for you! Also feel free to recommend on what other comics I should rate that came out recently! Leave a message.
